Capone: The Real Stories

Capone: The Real Stories

A historical movie about the events of Al Capone.  Al Capone is played by Joe Wellbaum who is a notorious gangster and bootlegger in the 1920's and 1930's.  The whole story is a flashback from a man who was on the inside of the Capone operation (Matt Czapar) and is being interrogated by the a tough FBI interrogator (Nathan Atkinson).  He tells about the most famous events in the Capone operation like The St. Valentine's Day Massacre and the drive by shooting at the cafe.  Nic Atkinson played many roles and was killed often, along with Joe Wellbaum.  This movie was a collaboration of the group, and was edited and filmed by Nathan Atkinson.

FYI:

Aside from Cottingham filming a couple of scenes, providing guns, and acting in one scene, this is technically not a Triad Pictures collaboration.

It only took two hours to plan and film the movie, a record pace.  Almost the whole movie was adlibbed, and usually only one take.

Joe really is as bad as acting as it looks.

Czapar does shoot himself in the cafe scene.
